Iran Drops 15 Missiles On US Troops To Avenge The Killing Of Soleimani

Pentagon has reported that more than dozen missiles have fallen on the US troops which are stationed in Iran. This attack is being called by American media corporation as a “fierce revenge” by Iran after US airstrike killed Qasem Soleimani, the second most powerful figure in Iran.

Officials have informed the pressed that 15 missiles were launched by Iran, and fell on the US military forces on Wednesday.

Additional information says that ten missiles hit Al-Assad Air Base, one missile hit a military base in Erbil and four missiles missed their targets.

Donald Trump has tweeted “All is well”

Although, there are no confirmed casualties as of now – indicating that no American soldier has died – the investigation is still on to assess the damage.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump cannot stop bragging about the prowess of US military and $2,000,000,000,000 (2000 billion dollars) it invests in invading other nations – while the US doesn’t have money to pay for living essentials like healthcare, education loans, food stamps, and social welfare.

Oil prices have jumped after the attack. Since an incoming war might mean that the trade and transport of oil will be severely hindered, causing a shortage that will lead to a global price hike in fuel prices – most affected will be the people of US itself.

Iran has commented that the attack is under UN Charter regulations

Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif has said that the missile launch by Iran as an act of self-defence, and the Article 51 of UN Charter allows Iran to attack the American base which had made the first attack on Iran to Soleimani and other Iranian citizens.

We do not seek escalation or war, but will defend ourselves against any aggression.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has been constantly warning US and the allies. They just broadcasted this message on Iran’s state-run news agency IRNA:

We are warning all American allies, who gave their bases to its terrorist army, that any territory that is the starting point of aggressive acts against Iran will be targeted.

Trump has been going bonkers and even went as far ahead to say that he would bomb the historical and cultural sites of Iran. Later, Pentagon washed their hands off Trump’s comments, saying that they cannot do that since it is a war crime.

Shocking History of US Military

In the 243 years of Independence since 1776, US has been at war for 226 years – and they have invaded more than 200 countries. US is also the only nation in the world to actually use nuclear bombs, and kill millions with it in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

And they want other countries to denuclearize while keeping their own nukes intact.

That time when US shot down an Iranian passenger flight and did not even apologize

On 3rd July 1988, US shot down the Iran Air Flight 655 – killing all the 290 passengers and crew, including 66 children. The plane was an Airbus A300, flying over Iranian territory in the Persian gulf.

Later the US said it thought the plane was F-14 Tomcat, a military aircraft. Which looks like this:

Apparently, the US Intelligence could not differentiate between an Airbus A300 and a F-14 fighter jet, even though the passenger plane was transmitting the signature signal of a civilian aircraft.

Behaviour of US afterwards was even more shameful as they refused to take any legal liability and did not even offer a formal apology. US and Iran reached a settlement 8 years later in 1996, when US gave a measly sum of $200,000 to the families of the each dead citizen.

It’s not a surprise that Ayatollah wants US out of the region

There are concerns that US might strike another passenger flight and then may claim that it was a mistake. A mistake that Iranian civilians are not willing to afford.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khemenei has said that he wants the presence of America to come to an end.
